Cubs

Cubs are aged 8-10 and a half and are the second section in the Scouting family. Following on from the experiences in beavers the Cub section is all about exciting activities and experiences.

A cub pack is divided into sixes led by a sixer and a seconder. Activities will become a little more adventurous and might include days out or camping for the weekend and well as climbing or kayaking. Cubs will have the opportunity to work toward their Chief Scouts Silver award.

There are a number of district and county activities each year which include a chess competition, swimming gala and scrapheap challenge.
